This page explains how Pocono Smart ("we", "us") handles personal information when you use this website or hire us. Last updated: August 1, 2026.
What we collect
- Information you give us: name, phone, email, address and whatever you describe in the contact form or on the phone.
- Job records: survey findings, quotes, installation notes and warranty information.
- Website analytics: anonymous usage statistics, and only if you accept cookies. Declining does not affect the site.
How we use it
To answer your enquiry, schedule surveys and installations, produce quotes and invoices, meet our warranty obligations, and — where you have agreed — send occasional service notices.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
Who we share it with
Only where it is necessary: equipment suppliers or manufacturers when registering a warranty claim, the technology providers who run our website and email, and government authorities where the law requires it. All are bound to keep it confidential.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become jobs are held for up to 12 months. Completed job records are kept for five years past the end of the warranty period, because we need them to honor it. After that they are deleted or de-identified.
Cookies
Essential cookies keep the site working, including remembering your cookie choice. Analytics cookies only run after you press Accept, and clearing your browser data withdraws that consent.
Your rights
- Ask what information we hold about you.
- Request a copy of it.
- Ask us to correct or complete it.
- Ask us to stop using it.
- Ask us to delete it.
To do any of these, email [email protected] or call +1 570-751-8013. We respond within 30 days.
Security
We limit who can see job records, use encrypted connections, and review access periodically. No system is completely secure, and we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your information.
Changes
Any changes are posted here with an updated date. Where a change is significant we email customers with active jobs.
