We walk the house, measure the signal, open the panel and check the doors and fixtures. This trip is free.
A written plan
A proposal you can actually read: what gets done, which equipment, how it splits into phases, and what each phase costs.
Install & configure
Most homes are finished in one to three days. Floors and furniture get covered, and everything is put back before we leave.
Handover
We walk you and the household through it, leave the layout drawing and the backup instructions, and you call us directly afterwards.
Groundwork first, features second
Almost every "smart homes are a pain" story comes from an install that skipped the groundwork. Our order never changes: network, power, control — and only then the parts that are fun.
- Measured, not estimated. Signal, load and door condition are all checked on site before we quote.
- Local first. Scenes and recordings live in the house, so the basics keep working when the internet does not.
- Manual always works. Every switch and every lock keeps a physical way to operate it.
- Written down for you. You get the layout and the notes at handover, so nothing is a mystery later.
Every space wants something different
We do not copy one configuration through the whole house. These are the rooms that come up most during a survey.
Living room
Scene lighting, media control and shades. One button moves between movie mode and having people over.
Kitchen
Task lighting over the counters, leak sensing, schedulable outlets, and a low setting after midnight.
Bedrooms
Light that comes up gently before the alarm, independent temperature, and a hallway night light that wakes nobody.
Entryway
Smart lock, video doorbell and an arrival scene — the lights come up and the alarm disarms as the door opens.
Garage
Driveway lights on approach, door-status alerts, and off-peak scheduling for EV charging.
Outside
Perimeter lighting and camera coverage, freeze alarms in winter, and eyes on the place while you are away.
What they said afterwards
It is a vacation house and it sits empty most of the winter. With remote temperature and a freeze alarm we have finally stopped asking a neighbor to go check it every cold snap.
I called about a dead spot upstairs. They measured first and told me I did not need the expensive kit. That is the reason I called them back for the rest of it.
The lighting scenes get used every single day. Dinner is one button, bedtime is another, and our kids can work it themselves. Clean install, no marks on the walls.
